Lower Odcombe is conveniently situated to visit the cities of Bath, Bristol, Exeter and Salisbury. Nearer to home are the market towns of Sherborne, Wells and Shepton Mallet. Dartmoor, Exmoor and the Dorset/Devon coast are also within easy reach.

Many interesting gardens are nearby including Montacute House, Barrington Court, Lytes Cary, and East Lambrook Manor Gardens. Wincanton racecourse offers a day's outing and for those visiting Sherborne or Millfield schools we are conveniently located. The area is of particular interest to walkers with many fine routes directly from the house or a short drive away.

Gastonomically we are only 50 yards from the Mason's Arms, a quaint thatched pub with a high standard of cuisine. Other restaurants and pubs are in nearby villages and cater for most tastes. We can highly recommend the local cider and boutique distilleries such as Borough Hill are close by. The town of Yeovil provides cinemas, theatres, shopping and eateries.
