Welcome. We hope to make your visit a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Townsend Farm is on the edge of the lovely, peaceful Somerset hamstone village of Lower Odcombe, where time seems to have stood still. Surrounded by hills and fields, you feel miles from anywhere and yet you are just a stone's throw from the amenities and transportation links of Yeovil.
The historic house is 17th century in origin but has been skilfully restored to 21st century standards, providing a warm and comfortable destination. We are ideally situated to visit the many delights Somerset has to offer, or just indulge yourself and relax in our lovely garden and surroundings. Enjoy the delicious breakfasts made from home grown and locally sourced prouduce. Visit the chickens that lay your morning egg or wander down to the orchard that provides the fruit for our ‘Taste of Townsend‘ apple juice. Whatever takes your fancy! We hope you have a most enjoyable stay with us.
